Good morning. Whew , I finally managed to get some time to play in my shipyard. Continuing with the boring I’m afraid. The top blocks for the main mast stays.

The rigging is similar to the foremast it just has two extra stays. Means more violin blocks to make(Not my favorite). On the main mast I made these blocks larger than the fore and Mizzen.

Excuse the white “dust” pieces- I only noticed these while posting.

Two Pendants to make and then these can be lashed to the top of the main mast.

Cheers Grant

Hi Grant, Never boring, more like inspirational. They are perfection.

Hello Grant,
unfortunately it's always the case that I don't see new posts or updates. Now then I'll start searching and scour the forum, dear Grant, first of all all the best for your birthday, I know I'm a little late and I hope you'll bear with me. Go to Xebec, it looks fantastic, absolutely great work.

Dear grant. Now that you are using the high-quality ropes, we can see just how good your rigging is. Those blocks are beautiful, my friend - it must be an absolute pleasure using the right goodies!

Nice work Grant, the rigging is very important on the final outcome and I hope I’ll be able to pull it off, building I can handle, carving was challenging but I am getting the hang of it but I have no clue on how to make ropes and virtually no experience in rigging. Great work

Good afternoon Peter and Ken. Yep better than nothing, still it only gets exciting when we see the stay tension and all the blocks and tackle running smooth. Thanks Ken we do strive for that perfection ….;)
Beautiful work Grant and not boring at all. It's always better to see work step by step. On completed model one can only admire, but how to get that is as important
Thank you. I don’t post enough build process so I guess it is an improvement. Thank you for you compliment.
Definitely lessons to be learned from this rigging. Thumbsup
…..on what not to do….ROTFROTF. Thanks JohanHello Grant,

Hello Heinrich. It is a pleasure working with “the good stuff”. I love the look of cotton rope but boy you have to handle these gently or they just fluff up. Thanks
Grant ,
Beautiful progress , i'm speechless of your work.
The upgraded ropes adds a lot to the ship.
Cheers
Guy
Thank you kindly. No doubt good ropes and blocks add so much to the completed ship. I need all the help I can get…..;)

In a fashion late

Thanks. I remember with my Victory I was clacky clueless when I attempted my first rope work. I read books and viewed some of the talent here on SOS and started to enjoy this rope work.
Cheers Grant
