A sad footnote: I don’t know if you guys noticed my lovely rich deck colour has lightened dramatically. Well this happened a while back when I left my Xebec (forgot to pack it away) in the South African sun for 4 hrs….

I have not followed any instructions with this stay design, more a combination of the Le Requin and the Occre Cazador. lets see. No I left it on the corner of my bar where the sun comes in instead of putting it back in the center. No worries tho it still looks good. Cheers Grant

Got tired of doing the main mast stays so decided to work on the forestay. Most Xebecs I have seen use a tan rope for this but I have decided to keep all the “standing” stays brown. Used a 0.6mm rope.
Top block. It would have been better to include this in the lashings of all the blocks however I did not add this block.

Overall apprearance. Still need to add the fore tension rope (also brown) and the rear tension (which will be my first real running line) which will be tan.
