Getting started in designing Hahn 2.0 first is to scan the original drawings

Note only one side is traced which will be mirrored to insure both sides are identical.

I happened to have the original frame drawings on drafting mylar which would be better to used rather than copies of the plans.

adding an offset this blue area is the extra material added to the original frame shape allowing the framed hull to be sanded to a finished shape and also serves as that buffer when setting up the framing. Notice the original edge of the extension is not included because that would no longer fit the jig, unless you offset the jig to accommodate the extra material.

final frame drawing including the offset and at the bow and stern the bevels

The breakdown of the sistered frame the lines show the over lapping joints in the frame

finally, after a lot of computer hours the laser cutting file which reduced the frame blank method of needing 100 linear feet to 45 linear feet of sheet stock. The tradeoff is what you saved on material you spend on laser cutting time.

Parts are very close together and color coded because each part looks very similar and if all the parts were mixed up it would be impossible to sort them out.
