Graham, hi again.
You may be aware of my 'Pugwash's Peg Leg' thread.
An ongoing story of my struggle against adversity, after losing a leg in a motorcycle accident last November.
When I was laid low with the pain caused by kidney stones I was told that's on par with a woman going through childbirth, which may well be true.
I'm here to assure you laying by the roadside for 2 hours with a leg crushed to pulp is considerably worse!
Yet here I am, large as life and twice as loathsome!
How true is the phrase, 'you never know what's around the next corner.
Fortunately I've had no recurrence of kidney issue's (touching wood).
A steady stream of support from forum friends has made a significant contribution towards progressing my new journey, late in life.
To adopt an old saying, 'Don't give up the ship!'.
My very best wishes to you and everyone involved in this marvelous forum.
