health

Graham, hi again.

You may be aware of my 'Pugwash's Peg Leg' thread.
An ongoing story of my struggle against adversity, after losing a leg in a motorcycle accident last November.

When I was laid low with the pain caused by kidney stones I was told that's on par with a woman going through childbirth, which may well be true.

I'm here to assure you laying by the roadside for 2 hours with a leg crushed to pulp is considerably worse!
Yet here I am, large as life and twice as loathsome!

How true is the phrase, 'you never know what's around the next corner.

Fortunately I've had no recurrence of kidney issue's (touching wood).

A steady stream of support from forum friends has made a significant contribution towards progressing my new journey, late in life.

To adopt an old saying, 'Don't give up the ship!'.

My very best wishes to you and everyone involved in this marvelous forum.

So, um, the original posting on this thread by Graham is a year and a half old and he hasn't been on this forum for a year. While we all certainly wish the best for him, it doesn't look like he will see it (hopefully just because he doesn't get on the forum any more and not anything worse.) Folks, check the dates of the postings you are replying to and make sure they are timely. :D You can also hover your mouse over the person's name on their avatar and see when they were last online.

Thank you Russ.

Another avenue is to PM someone...

It was remiss of me to not realise it wasn't Graham I was responding to.
It is legitimate to answer such a question if it is personally addressed to one's self.

I have PM'd Graham just now, not knowing the outcome of his condition.
I fervently wish him well and respect he may wish to keep his affairs private.
So please, don't all of you do the same... sometimes 'no news is good news'.
