Help with bending walnut strips 7x3mm

I had a go at this method using some strips on 2 of the bends and turned out not to bad, I thought I took some before pictures but seems I dont have them, here is what it looks like finished, the rails get painted and another part goes on the bend as well so hopefully will look ok, thank you for the tip.
