For sure, Paul! Clearly, I do not belong to the Masters' Club!A prophet is always rejected by his own people...or in this case...by his own admiral.

She is a HUGE asset, Dean - not only with regards to rigging or laundry, but all over. I will most certainly cherish and spoil her!Excellent! A woman who rigs ship models may well be better than one who does laundry!
Where I can I trade mine in?
Joking aside, she is definitely an asset! You owe her a nice dinner, back rub, etc.
Hi Heinrich. I can understand and describe your feeling of finishing the standing rigged. Did it also today!.Dear Friends
I am very happy to say that the admiral finished the standing rigging today and for a better result I could not have asked. In real life, the rigging looks absolutely amazing and lends greatly to the overall appearance of the little ship.

Thank you so much Ken. As you know, the research is to me part and parcel of the whole project. And in this case, the history is simply fascinating and has it all - from burning passion, human perseverance and resilience, to the whole mystery surrounding the name of the ship. I am very happy that you enjoy it as much I do. And as to the impact their journey has had on the world - I couldn't agree more!Hi Heinrich, In the middle of a forced break in my project has allowed me to catch up with some reading. I so love the history you bring to your project. Little ship, BIG history. I was thinking, can you imagine if those sailors could see the impact their voyage has had on the world? I would love to see their faces if they were able to to see how maritime and general technology has evolved. Great stuff.
As always, thank you for sharing.
Hoi Cees. 1:100 you are a very brave man to build in such a small scale. I am already struggling with 1:50, so the 1:100 is just beyond me!Heinrich,
The plans of Ab and Cor scale 1: 100
I.ll think
Lets see what they can print The CD is old and the computer plans are hard to see

When I lived in New York, most of the people I knew were Hollanders or Vriesk (Friesians). They always told me, "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!"Your Admiral, not only putting up with you, dear Heinrich, but also helping you out on your shipyard too.
One thing's for sure, she is truly someone special, evenire more so having to deal with a semi-dutchman.
Oh, by the way, your WB stil looks beautiful.
True statement!"If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!"

I have heard of this saying before - the South African Dutch are a lot more humble though! When I lived in New York, most of the people I knew were Hollanders or Vriesk (Friesians). They always told me, "If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!"
