I would like to share with you one of my gifts that I have received as a 60th birthday present. My two kayak rowing partners have clubbed together to get me the very highly regarded Academy Models' version of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1/400 scale. This was done without me or the Admiral having even the slightest idea of what their plans were. To say that I was surprised, is the understatement of the year. I have never built in plastic before so you can imagine that this will be a huge a learning curve for me. The kit will remain boxed though, until I have disclosure of my future in China.
And if that wasn't enough, they also got me this beautiful commemorative version of the vintage Prince Prona 61 lighter - a work of art if I have ever seen one.

I had a wonderful birthday, my friend. The gifts were absolutely amazing and are topped only by the even more precious gift of true friendship. This obviously goes for all my wonderful friends here on SOS as well.
