Hello everyone, this will be a build log of Hms Alert 1777 based on AOS, I am sharing this build on behalf Roland Vlahovici who was kind enough and provide all his images, he is way too busy to do this on his own.

Hi Roly,

What a stunning project, realy beautiful with all these minute details already on the furnace alone.
One question what is your reason to paint the furnace instead of burnishing it, is it soldered?

Hello Maarten,I am not 100% sure but I think Roland used laser cut card board or paper to build the furnace,probably thats the reason he painted it.

The furnace seems to be from brass plate. And looks like a very fine piece of art.

I enlarged the pictures and it is brass plate which is soldered. I guess if you burnish it the soldering joints will be to visible.

Very nice project! There seems to be a set of plans in use in one of the photos. Who loftedthe frames and drew up the plans? Nothing is commercially available as far as I know.

Incredible detail on this! Everything from the pictures hanging on the wall, the furnace, cannons, rope coils etc. are wonderful little treasures all on their own.
