Thank you. I think it is one of the best survival stories! Quite a journey and no men lost.Model is looking really good, and the ship tells a great story.

Thanks Grant.Good morning. Lovely work. Cheers Grant

Wish I could take credit for treenails, both them and the caulking is pencil graphite.Very neat. I really like the delicacy of the caulking and the treenails.

Extremely neat work Rebus. I agree that the subtlety of the spike covers in the decking look good.
The holes in the pin racks for the belaying pins look quite large but it may just be the photo. With the handles no more than 2" diameter and the pin half that, at a scale of 1:70 that would be a handle of 0.028 inches and a shaft of 0.014. I realize OcCre usually provides giant pins that look ridiculous as no one could get a hand around the handler rather than belaying pins but something easy to replace if that kind of thing makes a difference to you.

Thank you@Rebus very nice!!

Thank youLooks great, Rebus!

Thank youHey Rebus,
that looks good. You've made a big leap, that's how I feel! The ship looks great. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the kind words.

Thanks Paul. I appreciate your words. I am enjoying learning how to build ships and look forward to finishing this build to move on to more challenging work. I also am thankful for the great feedback and help I can get from this forum. The folks here have made it much easier to learn and understand all the details. I look forward to learning more as I seek to move toward scratch build and making everything to scale.Lovely, clean work Rebus! I'm a fan! During my brief time in this hobby I've been a pretty aggressive kit-basher. But there is nothing wrong with just building directly from the kit-supplied parts as long as you are enjoying your time in the shipyard and realize there will be some scale anomalies along the way. Our friend Allan (@AllanKP69) has a keen eye for scale and construction details - he will be there for you when the time comes...
True storyLooks great, Rebus!
