Grant, what do you use to cut your notches in the beams? Thanks, Paul

Good morning Paul. My struggle part. I use a flat No.17 chisel blade. I also use a No. 11 pointed blade to pry the little block of wood out of the chisel cuts. I clean up by gentle scraping vs sanding. Sanding changes the shape of the corners in the notches. Cheers Grant

Thankyou, yes I'm using a very sharp exacto blade and then a chisel. hoping to get better with each notch
