Thank you very much JimThat’s shaping up beautifully, Grant. Excellent work, as usual!

Good morning Gentlemen. Big day for SA in 55 min time. We are playing our arch rival the All Blacks (New Zealand) rugby……going to be epic.
Anyway my Enterprise. Many many hours this week with what appears to be no result. Some more bulkwalk and deck planking and trimming and cleaning gunports. Still no where near finished but thought I need to let you guys know I’m still alive and playing on my ship.

I also partially built a cannon to check the fit- was all good in each port.

Thank you kindly Sir.Looking good, Grant.
Good morning. Thanking for the compliment and having a look at my attempt with this POF. It feels like I have been spending forever on some aspects but I guess I’m moving forward. Cheers GrantNice! The progress is very rapid.
Always nice to see how a tiller is operating with the ropes and tackles, Grand. The pictures shows the details nicely.Good afternoon. This morning I did some more work on my tiller. I “rigged” the tiller cable via the tension block and tackle.
This cable will run around the drum on the ships wheel when I get to the upper deck.

In the last pic you can see the block and tackle (3mm single and 3mm double configuration) tied off to the cleat.
Cheers Grant
Good morning. Yes that is the plan. I am going to lay certain deck planks in a somewhat haphazard pattern so all the beams, tiller etc are shown. Is rather fun doing this although may end up like a dogs breakfastBeautiful work, Grant. I probably missed it elsewhere in the thread, but are you planning to leave the deck off so all that luscious detail can be ogled over?
Thanks Daniel. I will not plank over the X beams so hopefully we can see it once the upper stack beams are laid. Cheers GrantGood looking close-ups Grant. I was going to ask about sheaves in the x-braces where the ropes come above deck but your diagram in the second post explains it.
Good morning Jeff. Thanks for the compliment. Seeing where you are I’m sure you will be happy. Cheers Grantwonderful work Grant !!! I hope mine looks half as good as your and I'll be happy !
Good morning John. Thank you kindly. I always appreciate your encouragement. Cheers GrantGrant -- as all have said - Super well articulated details. Looks awesome!!
Good morning Peter. It was quite difficult to put together. I just hope my measurement of the cable length is correct or this whole system will be in vainAlways nice to see how a tiller is operating with the ropes and tackles, Grand. The pictures shows the details nicely.
Regards, Peter
A ’below deck hidden knot’ can then provide a solution ………Good morning Peter. It was quite difficult to put together. I just hope my measurement of the cable length is correct or this whole system will be in vain. Cheers Grant
