Hey Grant,

Don't stress. It'll work out. Family and job are always priority 1. Everything else, and yes, even our beloved building, has to wait. I know that only too well.

Best regards, Günther

Incredible work, very beautiful. I always enjoy looking at your build.

Cheers
Rebus
Thank you very much Rebus.
....and Roger.
Glad to see you back in the fold :) Great job on having the quick work planking on the bulwarks covering the sills and frames at the ports.
Allan
Thanks Allan. I hope it is right to do so. I have taken the cue from some other builders whom I admire.
Don’t be in a hurry ! . That’s when issues arise.
Your work continues to be wonderful !
Good morning Jeff. With this build I have had sooooo many redo's I don't think I could hurry. ROTF The next one coming is to remove the kit designed deck clamps at the quarter deck and stern. I don't like the way these are presented and will be changing this.
Looks good, Grant! There are days I wish I had a business partner...but then I remember I'm not partner material ROTF.
Thank you kindly Paul. It is a pleasure having Bronwyn as the Managing Director of our group. As long as I stay out of her way our partnership works like a dream. Even now while she is away she keeps warning me not to mess things up (she does use stronger language )......ROTF. Cheers Grant
Hey Grant, what Jeff said. You're getting into some of the fun top deck work, relax and enjoy.
Thanks Daniel. It is really fun designing my own deck layout which will be mostly open. I do hope the end product turns out as I envision.
great job Grant
congrats
Thank you kindly sir.

Cheers Grant

I hope it is right to do so
Absolutely. Inboard the sills and also the edge of the linings (stops) end flush with the inboard side of the frames rather than being recessed, and all are covered with the quickwork. Outboard the three linings in each port are recessed and the edges exposed so they can do their job. I am pretty sure ports framing was never done like the photo below, inboard or outboard, on English ships of war in the 17th -19th centuries.
