I forgot to ask, or maybe it was asked and I missed it. Did you make your clamps shown in post 122? I made a set based on information from Ed Tosti, author of several books including the Naiad volumes and Young America, Extreme Clipper The only difference is that I used wooden jaws rather than metal. Yours appear to be metal, which I really like, but do they dent the wood?
Thanks
Allan

This set of clamps was specially made for me by my teacher before retirement, a token of our teacher-student relationship for me to keep as a memento! So far, as long as they are tightened moderately, there has been no damage to the wood!

This week has been a week of battling sawdust! But the sanding results have turned out quite well!! At the same time, I found that my Festo vacuum cleaner is a bit underpowered when dealing with large amounts of dust—looks like it’s time to replace it with a new vacuum cleaner :) !!There were some issues with the bow skirt, which were also modified during grinding! Personally, I think the modifications turned out pretty good:D!!
