Please excuse my clunky post - first time posting anything. Hope you enjoy the images of my completed Enterprize, like many on this forum the deck heights proved very challenging and many mistakes and corrections were made! Still not perfect but had to settle for "good enough".

wonderful work, looks beautiful :) Thumbsup

Hi Mark,

Great build of this still unique kit.
Hope you started already something new you will share with us.

Bravo - that is really a very good looking model of the Enterprize.
Very good work - clean, accurate and bashed were necessary and possible
I underline the comments before:
It would be great and interesting to see more of your work, maybe ina building log of the actual project.
It would by a pitty not to see your work more often

Thank you everyone for you kind comments, attached a project completed prior to Enterprize, a triple expansion marine steam engine from castings. Also a project I started 20 years ago and have now resurrected HMS Warspite at 1/96 (2 m long). I got as far as making a fibre glass hull using the standard approach of making a plug first (Drawings used were the builders as held by the National Maritime museum). Phot sequence is in order of progress to the point of finished hull, prop and boat lifting boom.

Very nice work but I must admit that I am surprised by the name of the ship. I thought it was HMS ENTERPRISE with an "S" unless it was another ship.

Incredible steam engine! Was the steam engine sold a kit or did you have to make the castings??

The castings were supplied by Reeves in the UK with drawings - it was however a sparse kit with materials and fixings needing to be sourced.
