Do you have fixed already the eyebolts to the walls.
I think, that usually the breeching line was installed at the lower eyebolt and the tackle for the gun on the upper eyebolt.

Imagine: When the gun is shooting and recoil - the breeching line will get tensioned and press the tackle against the gun carriage.

It takes an experienced eye to spot that. Effectively the breech- and tackle lines have been reversed, if I understand you correctly?

The closest gun: In moment the tackle (blue) is crossed by the breeching rope (purple)
On the other gun I colored the tackle with red and the breeching with green
