Interesting design, what kind of wood is used for inner planking?

Modelship Dockyard, your description of the history of the ship and the details of it’s origins gives me a perspective that I’ve never had before. Thanks for sharing all of that background. The perspective: just how much I don’t know and how much more there is to learn. As an example, just what is it about a particular ship that excites our imagination, excites our desire to connect with a subject through building a scale model?

Inside structure mostly done.
All fake frames were made using 3D printing, by doing this we can get a very high level precision, while making it also easy to make for all modellers.

"Beams" also being added, so that the hatches can be unsealed, and we can also place ladders to the lower deck.

Deck and planking

The deck might seems a bit uneven this stage because it wasn't being sanded, later images will show the deck after sanding.

Planking was being made in two thickness, with string(top part) and spirketting(bottom part) thicker than lining(middle part).

Very interesting combination,the resin parts will make sure the gunports are perfectly lined up

Some folks might find color differences between on the boxwood part, we've improved that later on, so that the final result will be like the model in pic2.
