Thank you Knut. I haven't decided what to do yet. It would not possible to glue anything after oiling the deck. That's why i am waiting. Yes, I will finish with oil or warnish.

I wasn't happy with the look of windlass because it was not in exact octagonal form and the sections of windlass were not on the same axis. So I remade it. It looks better now.

The carronades. I intended to purchase the guns in the beginning of the project but I decided to try making one with my mini lathe before purchasing them. The result was not so bad and I made the rest of the guns as well. (By the way this is my first work with a lathe)

Hello Mustafa, I fully support your desire\decision to make your own gun barrels, and for the first-timer, you did a great job!!!! However, if you don't mind, the barrels as they are now will require some adjustments. The reinforcement rings are out of proportion, they are too thick compared to the barrel. Also, look at the carronade barrel, It should have a cone shape, and would also need to drill a bore. Take a look at the pictures below, I really hope that you will not be offended by my comments.

Very crisp work Mustafa I do like your approach of turning the barrels in wood.Many of the 17th Century Navy Board models that featured cannons were indeed made of wood.
For future reference,you could try turning these from Ebony,it is expensive but for cannons you can use pen blanks made for woodcarvers.This wood can be polished and holds fine detail.No need to paint the end result has a wonderful appearance of iron.
