Thank you for following my build friends. I am using this drop plank technique and i am happy with the result. But most of modelers use the spilling (edge bending) method. As far as i have learned, both techniques were used to build real ships.

Hello Mustafa,is this the first layer or the model going to be single layer build?
Hello Zoltan. In real the hull part below waterline of Pickle was covered with copper plates but because i don't have copper plates i will cover with 0,5 mm of mahogany veneer. Upper part of the hull will be painted.

I made the model carrier and I have started deck planking. I am using 1,5x6 mm of walnut strips on the deck. Because of long distance; I added extra plank supports between bulkheads 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7. 82.jpg81.jpg
