HMS Portland 1770 by Trussben - Portland Scale Ship Co. - 1:48 - 50 gun 4th rate.

So many great details in your build. Having the gammoning knee less thick than the gammoning piece and main lacing piece is a detail missed more often than not and a treat to see it done properly. Kudos!

Work on outfitting the QG’s is well underway with them being painted ivory white on the insides, then the floors, ceilings and seats of ease now added, next will be installing the super fragile windows into them and fitting them permanently to the hull before starting the aft fascia work.

Work on the QGs and stern keeps moving ahead, all the side friezes are permenantly fixed now but lots to do and test and fit before this is finished but it’s such an important part of the build that the time has to be taken to do it as well as I can as a prototype builder.
