At the moment I'm building a US-freighter, the "Export Banner". I document the construction step by step and when it's finished I put the picture in the forum.
The HMS "Prince" is in a "doll#s house" 1/12 scale. The ships are 1/600 scale. Except for the figures, everything is made of paper and scratch build.IMG_0064.JPGIMG_0068.jpg

THis I did not expect - absolutely not
So your 1:600 model of the HMS Prince is representing a 1:50 model in the 1:12 diorama model
->>>> this diorama is so great - amazing

I know one painting showing such a sceen

A New Whip for the Dutch

Unbenannt.JPG
Oil painting group portrait entitled 'A New Whip for the Dutch' depicting a group of men in the early 1650s, including Samuel Pepys and the Earl of Sandwich, seated at a table surrounded by plans and books, around a large model of a warship.

But I remember also another painting also showing the discussions inside the admirality, but I can not remember.....

Stunning work! Absolutely fantastic! In the background on the left I think there is a portait of W. van de Velde II.

The diorama model used to be in the Science Museum, London.
Their shipping rooms were closed some years ago. An absalute scandal, in my opinion.
