How I got into this hobby. Way back several years ago, during my college years, that summer, I got bored from doing nothing. Then I remembered something. There's a book of my uncle containing handmade crafts, including "How to make ship in a " that got my interest before, but I quit halfway, because it's just too difficult to place it inside the bottle without any proper tools. That moment I decided to make a shipmodel that will not be put inside the bottle, carving it's hull using a piece of log I found in our home. Here's the photo of my 1st ship.




Last year, while surfing the web, it just poops into my head to look for tools used in wood carving. The 1st image to load was the Dremel Rotary tool, that's the 1st time I heard of such tools, so I browsed further about it's uses. I then decided that if God permits, I will find that specific rotary tool "the Dremel" in our local hardware store and have sufficient money to avail it, then I will build a shipmodel that is way bigger than last time, off course with serious details and accessories in it. Then voila, it's there so my journey in modelship building continues

no sir, that's just the pattern I used for cutting the part of the bulkheads. I'm just trying to see if it fits, before I cut the actual materials. coz I don't have the actual printed size of the plans of HMS Victory. All I have is the copy I saw in the internet. I just re scale it to the size I want
