Looking really good. :)

Do the instructions give details on which forward shroud the ratlines start and which after shroud they end? They might not all start on the foremost shroud or end at the after most shroud (swifter)
As an aside I asked AI how many shrouds there were on each side of the Victory foremast. This is the stupid answer that came back.

The foremast of HMS Victory generally has 11 pairs of lower shrouds (22 per side)

Nearly every day I find a reason to distrust AI without finding alternate sources of information.

Allen I need to check but looking at HMS Victory they start at the 2nd fwd shroud and end at the 10th for 6 ratlines same for the top 6 ratlines, same for the mainmast! I hope this is what you mean :) there is 11 pairs 11 each side for the foremast same for the mainmast

That sounds spot on. I was just curious about what the kit shows. Thanks :)
11 per side is obviously correct. I was just very surprised at the AI response was so wrong. I went back and saw that it was quoting naming another ship model website as the source. AI has a long way to go before taking over humanity like we have been warned.:eek:

Gilbert I usually do 2-3 hour a day depending on what I have on (jobs from the better half)
How did you get on with the bow?
Hi Bri
Thank=s for checking
I have had a very hard time with the bow, breaking one head timber and having the rails too thick,
Anyway, I bekieve I have now found a right approach (using a bit smaller size rails) and hope to have this sorted out quite soon
Cheers
