Ships of Scale is on a new Web Host and new Forum Software that is more streamlined and offers more flexibility and tools for the users. I sincerely want to thank those that contributed to get us this far. I want to continue providing the link below and thank you again for being a loyal member of Ships of Scale. There are other Add-ons (software) that we can offer such as "Media" Galleries for instance that we are looking into and investigating which will make your experience here much more rewarding !

To all our mates world wide

If we can donate please do :D

Some may not to afford to. Some may be able to afford a bit more than others.

We do not want to see Donnie out of pocket expenses.

Hi all fellow model builders.

Please support Donnie and SOS like he has supported us over the years.

Regards

Denis.

This Website and forum continues to be very important to those of us that build ship models. It is a communication conduit for a very solitary hobby. Most of us spend countless hours alone in our hobby and SoS is the opportunity to interact with our peers. I hope you will join with me in supporting Donnie and his crew as they moves the site on to a better place. As has been said, it is easy to donate and I am sure that whatever you contribute will be appreciated.

Regards from Canada,

Bill

Just a question to the new platform (which is terrific by the way).
As I type a comment, there is a considerable delay between the point of time I press the button and the time it appears on the display. So I have to type virtually blindly, which makes it some fun, as the characters appear somewhat later and because my tablet is set to click at any input, letters appear on the screen with a series of clicks as out of the machine gun. Funny, but disturbing first of all by change between capitals and small cases and at corrections. On the other hand the message appears nearly instantaneously after I press the 'Post reply' button.
I believe this has to do something with the platform change.
