The issue is the first front frame design, not the bollard timber itself. You can see how much the frame edge invades the rebbet. Antscherl's plans show a totally different pattern for the entire four or five front frames, flatter by far at the keel. F1's overall shape doesn't fit much with the stem, though. As it's conceived, the hull would not be suitable for planking. I'have ordered some cherry spar planks at ZHL intended to reproduce all "F" parts, if necessary. A 5mm thick cherry plank will also be providing the beams in one single piece, instead of the suggested "patchwork". More to come... Cheers!

Did you dismantle all the frames? Was something wrong?
Or you want to show us, that you start now with final fixing of the farmes?
