Now that December is here, I offer this word of warning. Last year was so hectic we didn’t have time to do any baking so on Christmas Eve we had to swing by the store to grab what we needed. The next morning, the milk we put out was gone and there were lumps of coal under the tree with a note saying that Santa was not accepting third-party cookies…
 
I have no idea if the Santa/St. Nicholas/Pere Noel/ Babbo Natale/Daidí na Nollag or any others going down a chimney with gifts applies outside the US, so apologies if this makes no sense.
