This is some really detailed works here.
I really look forward to the finishing product. I also have my Akagi in progress, I took some short cuts on the lower decks which I really regret after reading your build log. XD

Started on this one:

Aircraft carrier Akagi in 1/700 scale.
I have the basic Tetra upgrade set for this kit.
I was thinking of getting the deck set with the PE deck supports, we'll see. It's a bit expensive and hard to get.

Started drilling out the port holes. Quite a few of those:

Some detail such as the moulded deck supports will also need removing to be replaced with PE.
