This is one of my favorite plastic kits from Imai molds.

It has 20 rigged cannons and 20 Swivel guns.

This kit has a very intricate wood carving on the port, starboard and stern.
To bring out this design I have to used my finest brushes to paint them.

Fir the flags I opened a few wine bottles and used the corks lead metal wrappings. Flattened down and hand paint the Algerian pirate design...just for looks.
Don’t kill me for this one.

To paint the deck I used various oleo colors and paint individual planks separately. It gives a more realistic wooden look.
