Is there a way to remove CA glue from your fingers other than chewing is off? My teeth are wearing away.

I use a small rag with acetone. It does the job.

not that I know of...but I am sorely lacking when it comes to naval history.....

There was no standard length.
The shipwrights used the available wood material, that means, that the length of a hill plank was defined how long the tree grow straigth.
Most ships were build out of oak trees, so the length of planks was limited.
Usually we say, that the planks were around 7 to 9 meter long, maybe 6 to 8 meter .....
The mentioned 20 feet length could be correct, which is appr. 6 meter



in scale 1:46 -> it would be 6,1 meter / 46 = 13,3 cm
