Where are all the YOUNG model builders? We don’t see very many of them at US model shows either.

I don’t think there ever were young master builders, takes years to learn and master the skill to build such masterpieces, and also youn people are busy raising kids an other stuff, this is just my opinion.

G'day Uwe
You're doing a great job there mate, I know it's a very difficult assessment to be there among the 'Royalty of Modelers'.:rolleyes: But someone has to do it.....
Wish it was me!;):p
When you said: 'The left one is Uwek making a selfie'

The convention ended today - I met friends, found a lot of new friends, and met much more friendly modelers. I made appr. 2.000 photos. And I have several new monographies from ancre and Delacroix in my suitcase......so enough material for some time to share with you......the next two days Travelling, but afterwards.......much more posts......thanks for the interest

It is not a kit. There is not any kit of Saint PH. It is made from a new ANCRE mongraph, The plans has been developed by the spanish investigator Mr. Tuset and published by french editor ANCRE. One of two models is made by Tuset
I had the possibility to meet and make intensive talks either with Didier Berti from ancre as well as with Gerard Delacroix.
In december I will get my copy of the monographie of the 90-gun ship Saint Filippe, and will make asap a book / planset review here in our forum. It is pure scratch built.....

I am back in Vienna after 1.800 km travelling with the car - the event was worth every km driving.
I will continue with the models
