We are the friendliest ship model forum on the net, and its pleasing to see our membership growing.
I just had a coffee on this one "likeminded people around the globe without prejudice, politics, or underlying ulterior motives" ,and a good laugh on the Shipmodeling Monoply CartelThe fact that we do allow humour, banter and peoples personalities to shine through is what I am talking about. This hobby can be quite a solitary one for many and the forum gives members the free opportunity to socialise online as well as discuss " how to shape your Cant frames" with likeminded people around the globe without prejudice, politics,or underlying ulterior motives
this is very true the forum is about the hobby and the people who take part in it. We make an effort to keep the forum clean of prejudice, politics,or underlying ulterior motives and the IP theft of its content and posts, and attacks from haters. We found out no one really cares so it is pointless.
so we carry on and enjoy the company and the hobby we like it all the sucesses and mistakes we learn from it all.
i totally agree Nomad be nice if world leaders took note, even better if fraction of our own ship modeling community would take note of working together as an amiable and thriving community. But blinded by hate still prevents that, some day NRG/KIR leaders will see the light and stop the slash and burn campaign and distruction of the hobby.Great website and initiative. A shared and common interest that gave birth to an amiable and thriving community. Maybe our world leaders should take note
Well done to Donnie and the other SOS staff who keep this site going. It is indeed a pleasant place to visit![]()

In the presence of all the superbly exquisite builds mentioned here, I am humbled to think that a plain and seemingly simple, little ship could attract this reaction. However, all the credit for the number of posts must go to my friends on SOS who have contributed so generously to this build log - be it in the form of comments, critique, advice, a sympathetic ear during the multitude of re-dos, or a thumbs-up. You are great and I can't thank you enough for your support.
