Considering I am designing my own kits now, I don't think I'll ever get around to building some of the lovely little kits I've acquired over the years. I have a couple of Jotika/Caldercraft kits left.

HM Schooner Pickle:
Price for Canada is $150 CDN, including shipping
Price for the US is $200 USD, including shipping. Remember there is a 50% tariff that I have included in the price
Price for Europe is $200 USD, including surface shipping, or $250 USD including airmail.

This item is now SOLD, thanks!
Congrats on such fast sale and to a Canadian fellow.

I would like to clarify something about the 50% tariff for USA you added to the ship price in case a US modeler wanted to buy it.

To my knowledge and from direct experience, that 50% is paid to the shipping company by the buyer (the USA modeler). It is a USA tax that is not pay by you. I already got 2 ships from China and I paid the tariffs (China tariffs) to the shipping company, when the boxes where at USA customs. The Chinese seller (you on this case), does not pay it.

Please, correct me if I am wrong, because it is important for all to understand that tariffs applied by USA to other countries are all pay at USA customs by the "importer - the USA buyer", not by the "exporter -you on this case-".

All the best and have an excellent weekend !!!

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

You are 100% wrong. Remember, your government has decided that Canada=Bad and China=Good. So, as Canadian sellers (not Chinese, as you mentioned), we have to use an app called Zonos for all our packages going to the US using Canada Post and the USPS. The tariff is calculated through the app and it needs to be paid before we go to the post office. The amount is on absolutely everything, whether it's CUSMA compliant or not and is at the highest rate that your government feels like putting at whatever moment it might be. Right now, the rate is 50% and there is a "processing fee" on top of that. Once you pay, you get a Zonos code that you use when you go to the post office. No Zonos code, no shipment.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Rick
