Ciao Tiziano

Do you temporarily set the beams in place, then mark the locations for the carlings, then remove, cut the mortises and finally secure the beams in place? Or, do you just use the plans to mark out the places for the mortises? Hope this makes sense. :)

Thanks

Allan

Hi Allan, yes, the procedure is as you said, I mark the positions, remove the beams, but for now I don't glue them, I drew the carpentry myself, because Boudriot didn't draw it.

Excellent work on the beams and knees! The lead lining for the powder room is looking great too!!

Thanks for sharing so many beautiful pictures of your work and progress.

Ciao Tiziano,
Your work is an obvious display of love for our hobby. Every time I think your work has gotten to the top, you find another higher mountain and get to the top of that one each time.
Beautiful work!
Allan
