For the past 2 years I had a build log on MSW about my current project, the Spanish frigate La Mahonesa. With the sad disappearance of MSW that log is now lost (though not my pictures!).
This is a stern cross-section in 1/48 scale from the Ancre monograph, built in Swiss pear and yellow American cedar for the decoration. I'm attempting to build everything from scratch as far as possible, only the guns are 3d printed.
I'll not be recreating my entire build log here as that wouldn't be feasible, however I'll try to keep it going from where I'm currently at, with regular updates.
So this is the current state: it's about 99% complete.
For the past couple of weeks I've been working on the wheel and rigging the rudder.With a bit of luck the rudder will be functional.
