You have the later blue kit, with sails, i have the red kit, so will have to make my own patterns (eventually!).You are doing very nicely.
You can see my captain is not pleased with the progress on his Hussard!ROTF

Yes mine is the blue kit and looking at your model seems very different, I am still making some progress each day although with the rigging it is geting complicated ??

You are doing very well, looks great ! Do not worry about mine, i am working to original 1860's plans, not to artesania's, so it looks very different from any of the kits ! I have recut the entire hull shape and changed the scale to 1:55 in order to use the kit wood, and i have added a lot of blocks under the deck edge to anchor shroud lines and bulwark supports to. That's just my methodology. I will probably do a build log when i have finished my present builds.

French ships of this period generally had davits abreast the rear mast shrouds. Le Hussard carried two boats in that position and a third , smaller, on deck, in front of the cookhouse .

Well that does not look right, I beleive two options :-
Put the boats on the deck or
Pull them in closser to the hull

Well I pulled the boats closer to the hull & I think that looks more realistic (better).
I would note that I am posting photos as PNG as JEPG's always end up upside down
