I’m building the Amerigo Vespucci, Mantua #741 1:84. The hull is finished and I’m ready to do the riggings.
Unfortunately I can’t find the 1:1 plans for the rigging. I still have the booklets but they’re no help when it comes to the rigging.
This is what happens when you take a year off and then restart the build.
If anyone can let me know where I can buy them I would greatly appreciate it.
I could even work off pictures of the plans, I just need to see dimensions and line placements.

Any help is appreciated. . . . (and needed)

Hi Mike. I posted a build log of the Amerigo some time back, I showed detailed pictures of the plans including the full rigging diagrams. You’ll find them on page 11 of my log. I hope this helps. Ken

I have completed the Amerigo Vespucci last year

I can make copies of the rigging plans and send them to you
However, I am not home right now and shall only be back to France on 13 Jan

In the mean time, I have the Flying Fish ( model ship ways ) that’s been on the shelf calling me to build her.
If I’m smart I won’t start on her and then lose her plans once I resume my build of the Amerigo Vespucci.

That’s just what I need! The 1:84 scale
I have another ship builder that’s going to email me photos of his plans. I’m confident that I can work off the photos
but if it proves too difficult I will buy them from Cornwall model boats.
It’s great that you’ve given me a “ plan B “ to my problem!
