Ciao AllanHave you contacted the West Point Foundry in Cold Spring, New York where they were made? Maybe they still have copies of the drawings since they were made there when it was overseen by Robert Parker Parrott.

Генерал-майор Р.А. Дурлахер.The second photo from the bottom is probably the monster 20” Dahlgren. Never fired a shot in anger.

In general, there were only two cannon foundries in the US at that time, one of which (Principio Iron Works in Maryland) was destroyed by the British in 1813. American ships sometimes used British-made or British-designed cannons due to difficulties in domestic manufacturing. If that is the case, Blomefield pattern cannon and carriages could be appropriate. For size, from what I have read she carried 32-pounder guns and was supposed to carry two 100-pounder Columbiads fitted to fire at enemy ships below their waterline but it seems these were never installed. With a beam of 58 feet she could have carried 9.5 foot long guns which would have actually been about 10.5 feet long. For more accurate information the curator staff at Preble Hall may be helpful. museum@usna.eduSteam Battery "Fulton," or "Demologos,
