The Meng Me-410 kit has probably more cons than pros. This one was a bit tough with the fit around the cockpit/gunner area. The canopy was a bugger to put together and that too didn't fit all. Side guns that were supposed to move, didn't due to poorly engineered inner ring holding the assembly to the fuselage. Although it was more of a pain to build, I was determined to do what I could do and completed a diorama with it.

Some Eduard PE used on this kit. I added some bullet hole patches just above the right side of the cross - used some leftover PE for those.

Scratch made leading edge slats



Spiral decals were horrible. After a fair amount of time softening and fighting with them I elected to just paint them on instead.

Here, the mechanics are just finishing up after installing a spare engine that was shot up. There are two bullet patches on the cover lying on the ground.
