Hi guys.
As you might know, I don’t work for Model Expo customers service anymore but I will always keep a close relationship with the wonderful family of its employees.
I recently visited their new location.
This place is HUGE, I was so impressed.
Here are a few pictures I took.

This is Carlos the General Production Manager and right hand man for Marc the owner.58CFE2EA-69C1-4366-97B3-BD40D41F4B8F.jpeg
This is just the OcCre section and Carlos told that more are coming. Their stock is so huge that they had to obtain a forklift to accommodate it.

You are so correct.
It was a drooling day for me just standing there on front of so many great models.

I'm primarily an airplane builder and I came across ModelExpo while searching for some kits to build a few years ago. I have since purchased several dozen Guillows and Dumas kits from them and have their Model Airways Camel and DR1 kit. I just started the Camel kit and actually that is how I came across this forum while looking for a build review of that kit. I've been building airplanes for close to 50 years now and it's sad to see that all of the major manufacturers have gone out of business. With Model Expo picking up the midwest line of boats I wonder what the likelihood of them bringing back some of the midwest airplane kits might be. I suppose the market just isn't there any more or someone else would have done it already.
I am fascinated with all the ship kits they offer and I may have to purchase a few to try my hand at ship building. I imagine it is similar in many ways to airplane building just learning new terminology and some techniques. I have poor eyesight and my detail painting skills have never been much to be desired....certainly not like the pictures I see here but I always need something to do to keep my brain busy.
Anyway, I really like the Model Expo company, they always seem to have great sales going on and they have replied to every question I have asked via email within a day or less.
I looked at their entry level kits and they seem a bit simple for my tastes, (maybe that's my ego getting in the way) but I'd like to find something that will test my skill set a bit, yet not be so fiddly that I'd be unable to complete it. I'd be willing to budget 300$ or so for a kit and I'm sure I will find one that appeals to me if I read enough.

This is truly awesome! Thanks so much for the pics! Although I model in plastic, there are certain things that cross over into wooden models, & anytime I've had a question or needed some advice, ModelExpo is always helpful. Everything I've purchased from them is top-notch quality & prices are the best in the business! Now you guys have all the void you need to make things even better! Congratulations, & ModelExpo forever!!! rick1011
