Got one foot left then I can get to thickening. Picked up a can of spray paint to help the crepe paper go farther.

Decided to leave the gaps as it's just going to be covered

Only problem is a put the dew claw on the same side. Any suggestions for cutting it off and swapping sides? I have a foam cutter thingy kit to get through the hot glue maybe but not sure if it would ruin it / how to clean it..
Amazing work, DD. Could you simply swap the legs without cutting anything? If you must cut the claws off, then a sharp knife should be adequate for cutting through hot melt glue. Multiple shallow passes should get you through cleanly.

Looking great ! I agree with Namabiiru. Just make multiple passes with your knife. Don't apply a lot of pressure and you should be able to remove it.
If you have to remove the glue, you can use the tip of the glue gun and don't dispense any glue. The heat will re-melt the glue.

I only need to cut one claw off. So it shouldn't be too much work. Thanks for the advice. Maybe my blade wasn't sharp enough when I tried of the back of the oro

Update - will try to get pictures soon. In effort of progress I failed to take pictures today cause I got too in the zone.

To done list:
- attached the leg joints to all appendages cept the neck.
-Finished the one foot that was not done
- moved the dew claw on that foot over. Decided it was good enough for a pinjata and just attached it upsidedown on the other side. It curves up a bit so it's like it's raising the claw but otherwise it's the right curve towards the foot.
- added muscles (or mus-kles as my dad sometines jokes) to the non body side of all the legs using paper towel with its edges held down by hot glue and stuffed with groceries bags or more crumpled paper towels or their scraps.
- added paper tape in some spots where I wanted more definition.
-Burnt my hands more times than I can count. One such tool a slice of skin off considering I got it with the tip of the hot glue gun. T.T I'll spare you all that picture.
-started going the holes for the neck then acknowledged I was too tired to do it right. Might have to consider leaning into putting the necks at an angle so the heads won't hit each other
- used up one whole can of cheap black spray paint on the body legs and tail. That should let me be pretty lazy with the crape paper.

I couldn't get the tail to attach in a way that will let it rotate so I'll probably glue that in place.

Oh apparently I had one really dark photo I sent to my mom. It shows how I only made one side of the legs muscular and how I used tape to hold down the paper towel. The fluff will go on the outside so these are reversed. The dewclaw switch is in the shadows so not visible.

Haha thank you all! Your comments make me laugh. I'm dreaded the next part. Wings and wrapping it. I did start wrapping it and man does it take time. Probably like planking but more unwieldy?

Final look at the insides
