Sasha, I'm glad you showed me what a waterway is on a ship. I would call it a gutter line and I imagine at various locations along the deck would be a drain scupper for water to exit the deck. Would this be continuous through the bulkheads on a real ship?Heinrich, I will modestly keep silent about this.![]()

Thanks Heinrich. I'm not entirely satisfied, I don't really like mainwelsbarhout. It is very difficult to adjust the 3 mm thick slats, especially on the bend in the nose. And it is visible. These places need to be worked on. I first soak the rail in water, then apply it to the case and press it with screws. I wait for the rail to dry, and after that I glue it.Very good work Sasha. You can be well pleased with that!![]()
Good morning Sasha. I really enjoy how you are going about building this Victory. My favorite Victory build I have looked at. Thank youStarted trimming the sides around the quarterdeck. There are 12 guns on the quarterdeck, 6 per side. I plan to make ports closed. Not today the ship looks like this

Great work Sasha, very neat and tidyHello everyone. Continuation of work on the plating of the VICTORY hull. Finished with a decorative belt on both sides. It remains to lay small fragments in the stern. But while I won’t do it, I need to form a stern gallery.

Kurt, hi.Great looking build you have going, the yellow stands out vividly.
One question for some more knowledgeable then me.
When did they start painting the bulkwards in blood red around the guns?
Kurt, about blood - this is a well-known "tale". But this is fictionThanks for the info and explanation, a lot different then what I had first heard, of to help hide the blood color from injuries of gun crews.
