For some reason, they completely forgot that not only the ports were painted in the mentioned red color, but also the power elements of the hull, for example, beams, knees; as well as bulwarks, machine guns, bollards, bitengs and more. The insides of the boats were also painted red. It is also known that red paint was used as a primer for subsequent painting with black, yellow and other colors - on the hull. Red primer is found under the main paint as well as in the regels of the latrines and under the painted surface of the bowsprits.

And here it is after sandpapering. The gaps between the slats were sealed with a mixture of PVA glue and sawdust from a black hornbeam. Photo result.

Hello. Pulleys from the store with a diameter of 4 mm arrived for me. I completed the double pulley-gat on the starboard side and installed it. According to the book, below the mainwells of the velvet there were 7 shackled belts. the thickness of the upper edge of the first belt in 84 scale turned out to be 2.4 mm, the upper edge of the second belt 2.1 mm, below 1.8 mm, 1.67 mm and 1.5 mm. After installation, the protruding edges will need to be ground off and a smooth transition will be obtained from the upper belt under the velvet to the lower part of the skin. Now it looks like this. I did the lining. Reiki I have on a scale 4 mm wide, in the nose it turned out 2 mm. I narrow the straps in the nose and take off a little on the edge, which I apply to the previous rail.
