Progress…paint and decals…
The decals are usable, but thick like vinyl and yellowed with age. Oh well, gives it a weathered look!


Next I have to add antenna, prop, canopy and landing gear. Then she will be ready for the shelf.

It’s starting to take shape, all that’s left is the landing gear and bomb.

Reggiane RE.2001 Falco II completion:

Landing gear was painted and assembled…


Then the bomb was assembled…the hangers were not an easy task…

But it all worked out in the end…


After that dried, she was done!


And on the appropriate shelf…

This shelf will be Russian, French and Italian aircraft. My last two builds added to this shelf, as it used to only have 4 aircraft.

I’ve been putting this one off to get some other quick builds out of the way. This will not be a quick build! There is a lot of detail and a lot of parts!

Mosquito progress:
The cockpit assembly was about three steps and 18 parts. A lot of nice detail which can be appreciated in person. The pictures don’t really do it justice. It’s hard to get clarity on tiny assemblies …it just gets blurry and makes my painting look less sharp…sigh.
