Thanks Paul…the idea has been on my mind for some time, as I started with the 1/16 scale P-38 Lightning. But it is just too big and the project stalled.
Now I just need to build a bomber with my wife on it!

Now for aircraft 101…probably be the F-20. but I think 102 will be the B-25 Mitchell. Time for something different.

Started the paint on the F-20…

Decals and clear coat finished…now for landing gear, doors, arrestor hook, and sidewinder missiles. Then she will be done.

The B-25 Mitchell will be a lengthy build, but also a nice change.

I know there is only a small group of people who actually follow the aircraft builds, but I decided y’all are worth my continual posting and updates. I won’t be updating every step, but will try to document enough to see some of the finer details.

I'll follow that build with great interest. My Dad flew B-25's in WWII. Never talked much about it. I have several mementos.

My son was given a scrapbook by the widow of a guy who was a crew member on a B-25 flying from a base in Italy; the Catch 22 guys. It has a lot of bomb damage photos taken on various missions.

He’s on a medical leave from work for the next couple of weeks. I’ll remind him to spend some time studying it.
