Pretty impressive ship. You've obviously got some skills. I just completed my first build; I thought that building the ship structure would be the most satisfying part of the project, (given my past experience with plastic model building) but amazingly enough to me, I thoroughly enjoyed the rigging!

Gotta say, thinking about the rigging is giving me angina. I'll be asking lots of questions here!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Life got busy this fall, but I have a bunch of days off coming up, so it'll be back to the Mayflower soon. I'm going to go off-plans and detail the superstructure a little more than the kit calls for. For one thing, there needs to be some attempt at a window for the whipstaff. How did they miss that?

I have half built that kit and found a lot of differences from the ship at Plymouth so I purchased the plans from Model Expo, much more accurate and same scale.

Yeah, I plan to sell this one when finished and get the Model Shipways one. I look at this version as my "learning the ropes" model.
