With the exception of 'The Ships of Columbus' (which I don't particularly want) I have the complete ATOS library, mostly purchased at similar prices as above, from ebay. The "Anatomy of the Ship" series is a wonderful series !
Although, some of the books have become crazy expensive (for instance the one on the HMS Alert).
Pug, you got them at a GREAT price !
I would agree but will have some nice spending money when I sell of my library one dayAlthough, some of the books have become crazy expensive (for instance the one on the HMS Alert).

Call me old fashioned, but PDF Downloads aren't the same as holding a real book.I would agree but will have some nice spending money when I sell of my library one dayThen again I saw a free PDF download of the entire AOTS Alert book and was really surprised.

Yes he has, as I paid $200 Aussie for mine and it's the earlier edition. There is not much difference between the first and second editions, as mine does not have the full layout on the cover a sits in the middle of the book. The "Anatomy of the Ship" series is a wonderful series !

Hi Gary.Yes he has, as I paid $200 Aussie for mine and it's the earlier edition. There is not much difference between the first and second editions, as mine does not have the full layout on the cover a sits in the middle of the book.
However, it is a great book full of references, and I would struggle if I didn't have it on hand.

pugwash,I have several volumes in 1st & 2nd editions.

Sorry, no.pugwash,
You wouldn't happen to have a copy of Ed Tosti's 'Naiad Frigate Vol. II' would you? I'm looking to add this to my bookshelf, but Seawatch doesn't know when it will be back in print.

Thanks anyway, pugwash. I might not live long enough to get all the way to Vol. II anyways! LOLSorry, no.

Sweet..hope you are doing better Pug..I'm building the 1/30 Royal Caroline and have the Anatomy book..absolutely one of the best books for building.Well done Justin.
Within the last week I got Victory, Bounty, Bellona, Susan Constant, Type VII U-Boat and Hood. £55, the lot.

Always a boost to get the kind thoughts of others, thank you.Sweet..hope you are doing better Pug..I'm building the 1/30 Royal Caroline and have the Anatomy book..absolutely one of the best books for building.

The series is gold for detailed plans, photos, and historical accuracy—great additions to any ship modeler's library. Congrats on the bargains.Couple new books to add to my library. Very detailed drawings and photos View attachment 523993View attachment 523995

That’s a great haul, and I’m with you on physical books over PDFs; a shelf of ATOS volumes just feels different when you’re actually building. I’ve had a few “bargain” buys ruined by random gambling-site popups while browsing on my phone, and one of them was https://sattamatka-india.com/ which was pretty annoying. Another time a tab redirected me to https://hindiroulette.com/ and I nearly closed my browser and gave up on book hunting for the night. Anyway, those builder’s plans titles you mentioned are gold when you’re trying to confirm fittings and proportions.
