Need Help with Clamping

Awesome, more tools to buy. Still waiting on a set of clamps I ordered a week or so ago... My gorilla CA glue has welded itself inside the cap for the 3rd time. Really annoyed with that setup. I've wasted way too much glue. They need a metal applicator tip like the one that came with my Revell Apollo rocket build. Beautiful applicator setup, long thin metal tube that let the glue out 1 drop at a time in pinpoint accuracy. Unfortunately that glue works well for plastic models not so much with wood. Though it is awesome for stiffening ropes and dropping onto rigging knots.
I find that the small tubes of ca are great and cheap. Small applicator is precise and if they clog just throw away. Think 1 paid $8 for 12

I have been enjoying the very small tubes of ca. 16 of them on amazon cost $7 or so. The applicator is very small and any clogging means that you just throw that tube away and start a new one

To address the slipping clamp issue on curved surfaces I've found using a 'strong' double faced tape on the clamp jaws works very well.
The tricky part is I pre-apply the tape to the jaws then when you are ready to use the clamp you have to hold it open, remove the paper from the tape and then continue holding it open while positioning the clamp. I use a strong double faced tape used by woodworkers.
I think I will try another suggestion by using sandpaper adhered to the clamp jaws.
