Greetings, fellas!
I find myself in a bit of a predicament. My grandson's Spyra electric water gun has gone on strike, leaving us high and dry and completely defenseless in the summer heat.
As the designated household engineer (a title no one asked for but I somehow earned), I was promptly volunteered to fix it. Upon performing surgery on this marvel of modern water warfare, I discovered the culprit: a tiny pump gear that had given up the ghost.

After some digging around online, I managed to track down a 3D printer file for the part. So here's my ask: does anyone here have access to a 3D printer and the willingness to save both a water gun and my reputation as a Granpa can fix everything? I am absolutely willing to compensate for your time, materials, and shipping.

And if you happen to be in Brooklyn, NY, I may even stop by in person — though I promise to leave the (broken) water gun at home. Attached are a few .stl files (not sure if they are usable).

Jim,

Check your local library! Mine has several printers and even a laser engraver that you can use for very very little. Also see if there is a makerspace nearby. They would have printers.

The library is a very good idea. I have one nearby to ask.
