I hope it's the Sovereign of the Seas instead. THere are already too many Soleil Royal kits out there

yes they re few soleil royal model out there but none are actually correct , and it is a well documented ship at the national maritime museum in france , plastic heller is the closest one to the real thing.

either way if its the sos then even better hopefully it will be better quality deco then sergal ,3 printed deco would be great , price will be a good 1200 i am pretty sure

The ad says it's a ship from the year 1669, so I think it's Soleil Royal.

I believe they are innovating in the way they produce the kits, this Arsenal-type model is an innovation available in kits.

that would be excellent to have 3D printed decorations. I am not a big fan of britannia metal fittings.

I don't think that it is a clue at all, but I could be wrong. If anything, it serves to drum up buzz. They have a "guess the model" competition going on their Facebook page regarding this one. Smart marketing, I say.
