new ropewalk project

So while working on the Montanes
i'm also working on side project , making ropewalk machine.
The main parts of the machine will be printed and all the rest of the mechanical parts are orderd from AliExpress.

This is my initial design for the stationary part of the machine.


I'm not sure if i'm going to use and print all the gears at first but i'm keeping the option.
And some of the parts are already arrived as well.

More parts are on the way, and soon I will also start to print the parts as there is more to do with the drawings.

More stuff arrived ,and i was able to continue with the design .



I printed the first part ,using petg filament 13 hrs of printing , 261 grams of filament.
And inserted the bearings.



Next print will be The gears, and the 2nd wall.

thanks, me too , hoping that it will actually will work

I'm printing with Creality Ender 3 v3.KE
It's an nice printer but there are much beter on the market in this price range.
