I bought the King of Mississippi as my first ship build. It arrived today.

I have been a amateur woodworker for 20 years making furniture,

I hope my woodworking skills will help me with the King of Mississippi

Looking forward to posting pics of my progress, and using the knowledge of this group.

Welcome aboard! I'm a fellow woodworker too! Ship building is an enjoyable hobby and a lot of your tools may just come in handy! Look at the woodship build logs for some insight of your model!

Welcome from New Jersey, USA. I assume you mean Artesania Latina, King of Mississippi. I recently finished that ship. It was fun to build and came out great (at least for me). Instructions were easy. Also attached are video links you can watch. Do not start that ship until you watch the videos. Good luck

Frank, very nice work. I see you stained every other plank on the deck, I like the effect. Congrats!!!!!
